Tails From Provence

Most Sunday mornings we go to Reillanne market.  We meet up with some of the expats who live around here, enjoy a chat, coffee, glass of rosé, whatever…. and I usually buy veggies for a couple of days.  I was at one stall, where they sell mostly organic stuff, and I spotted these guys.

Well, of course I had to buy them.  Think of the endless possibilities for fun!

There’s no doubt, one could get smutty…

but I chose a different path…

I have to confess that initially, I hadn’t noticed the second “interesting” tomato.  Perhaps his glum expression made him harder to spot…

The Tomato brothers have taken up residence in the fridge.  They make me smile every time I open it.

But, sadly, they WILL be eaten this week!
