Sunday Stills – Flowers
Just one shot today… I took this last Sunday near Céreste. In years gone by, Narcissi were grown here commercially for the perfume industry in Grasse. There are still a couple of fields where they turn up by the thousands, but mostly the land has been ploughed and reseeded and the Narcissi are just left to come up in the margins and the boggy patches which can’t be ploughed.
I really wanted the narrow depth of field in this one, so that the flowers in the background blur away into the distance.
Stunning photot – Love the lone water droplet!

All you really need is one good one, and you got it! I like how the droplet echoes the story.

It’s beautiful. Too bad they didn’t leave the fields alone it must have been awesome to see.

Great shot. The shallow DOF worked well, and I really love that lonely drop at the end of the straw.
