This is the YD – Youngest Daughter. Sea Fever is about her grandfather, my father-in-law. He was a ship’s captain, served in the merchant navy during the war, travelled the world while his beloved wife waited ashore. Eventually he took a shore-based job and lived a happy live with his wife, children and grand-children until Alzheimer’s took its cruel grip on him. I can’t listen to this without welling up, but I love it.
